Ebert named MAKE BELIEVE one of his top docs of 2011! The MAKE BELIEVE DVD remains on sale, featuring the film, extras, and 10 learn-them-yourself magic tricks taught by the young stars. Screenings continue in the US and abroad.

DEC 2011: DVDS FOR GIFTS!

NOV 2011: VIETNAM & THAILAND!

MAKE BELIEVE was proud to be a part of the US Department of State's American Documentary Showcase, traveling across Vietnam and Thailand and screening to universities, diplomats, and the public. Click here for the travel blog.

OCT 2011: DVD FOR SALE!

The MAKE BELIEVE DVD continued to sell well while the film continued its theatrical run, in Charlottesville, Virginia; Buffalo, New York; and Omaha, Nebraska.

SEPT 2011: DVD RELEASED!

MAKE BELIEVE was relased on DVD on September 20. The film also continued its theatrical run, playing Stirling, Scotland and Milwaukee.

AUG 2011: THEATERS CONT!

MAKE BELIEVE ran in Portland, Oregon.

JUL 2011: THEATERS CONT!

MAKE BELIEVE played the the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas; the Seoul International Youth Film Festival in Seoul, Korea; and a run at San Francisco's Balboa Theater.

JUN 2011: THEATERS CONT!

With its theatrical release adding a "thumbs up!" from Ebert and praise from the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, and more to its positive press, MAKE BELIEVE continued its theatrical run in Santa Monica, Chicago, and Mexico City.

MAY 2011: IN THEATERS!

MAKE BELIEVE began its theatrical run, playing the Independent Film Festival Boston; Cinema Village in New York, with a premiere at the historic Friar's Club; Chicago's Facets Cinematheque; and, with a premiere party at the world famous Magic Castle, the Laemmle Sunset 5 in LA!

APR 2011: IT BEGINS!

The full MAKE BELIEVE store opened, the Showtime run began April 12, and the New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles premieres were announced to kick off the theatrical release!

FEB 2011: SHOWTIME ANNOUNCED!

Lance Burton joined the filmmakers and fellow stars of MAKE BELIEVE for the first sneak peak screening on 2/28 as part of the 2011 World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas, and MAKE BELIEVE announced its world television premiere on Showtime on April 12!
